Reverse Engineering.

From polygon model creation to CAD model.

The Reverse Engineering process is the detailed analysis of the Operation, Design and Development of an object (device, electrical component, mechanism, software, product, etc.) in order to produce a new device or program that has a similar operation, perhaps improving or increasing its efficiency.


Reverse engineering ananlysis occurs in 3 stages:

  1. Creation of the Polygonal Model (STL), using state-of-the-art 3D scanners.
  2. MoDeling and Cleaning of the STL file
  3. Transformation of the polygonal model into a Solid model (CAD).
